Get out your hunting gear. We are going on a shape hunt. We see shapes everyday. Everything we see is made of shapes. Be careful as we go hunting. If you aren’t watching closely you may miss a shape. Now let’s see how many shapes you can find. Good luck and happy hunting. 

The Task

Your job is to find all the shapes you can in the picture of the shape house. On your shape fact sheet you will record how many of each shape you found in the picture. Then you will color the shape house according to the key on your fact sheet.

The Process

Step 2: Look at the picture of the shape house below. Using your mouse and cursor, point to and name every shape you see in the picture.

Step 3: Count the number of each shape in the picture of the shape house and write it by the correct shape on the fact sheet color key.

Step 4: Print out your copy of the shape house by clicking here. Color the shapes according to the key on your shape fact sheet.
