Going to the Sun

This was the fifth Out West Trip sponsored by the South Central Service Co-op in Camden, AR, and Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR.
The Out West participants, teachers from southern Arkansas, and the instructors boarded the plane in Little Rock, AR, and traveled to Bosie, ID, with layovers in Dallas, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT.
After arriving in Boise, ID, the participants and instructors boarded a chartered bus and traveled to several national parks, monuments, and museums. The states covered in this year's trip were Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.
The emphasis for this trip was on the geography, geology, plant life, and animal life of this region the United States. An emphasis was also on how Lewis and Clark plotted their route across this region.
