Welcome to Migration Biology
Have you ever wondered why geese fly south for the winter? Why Monarch Butterflies search out the milkweed on their trip to and from Mexico? Why hummingbirds swarm your feeders in the fall and spring? These are some of the questions asked during Migration Biology.
Migration Biology, in conjunction with Southern Arkansas University and South Central Service Cooperative, consists of elementary and secondary teachers. In order to improve educational opportunities for students in this region, teachers have given of their valuable time to study the migratory patterns of a variety of species and to share this information via the World-Wide Web.
